War is at our doorstep—let’s slam the door in its face!

On the night of May 29, as part of the general strike against the war, we decided to sabotage the railway line on the Verona–Brenner section.

We chose to act at this location because the Brenner [an Alpine pass between Italy and Austria] is a strategic and vital corridor for the export and import of goods, raw materials, and weapons. We carried out the action by setting fire to two electrical cabinets. The strikes against war and genocide have been marked by the slogan “Let’s block everything.”

Leverkusen (Germany): Double Act of Rail Sabotage, by Angry Birds Commando.

[Note of Sans Nom: On July 11, 2026, the Angry Birds Commando issued a statement claiming responsibility for the sabotage that had just brought the Cologne-Düsseldorf line to a standstill — a heavily trafficked rail route in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s most populous region. Specifically, a first time-delay incendiary device was placed on the night of Thursday, July 10, in a shaft located on the bridge spanning the Wupper River (a tributary of the Rhine), north of the city of Leverkusen, and a second device was placed alongside the tracks a few hundred meters further on, in Langenfeld. Numerous fiber-optic signal cables were destroyed, causing a partial disruption of traffic and numerous delays.

It should be noted that this group has been active in the area since 2023, publishing both numbered statements claiming responsibility for acts of sabotage and technical manuals to spread the practice. Below is a translation of their Statement No. 8, which claimed responsibility for this act of sabotage, as published on de.indymedia.]

On the night of Sunday, May 17, 2026, we sawed through a pylon on the 400,000-volt power line supplying the CEA [French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission] in Cadarache. Unfortunately, there was no short circuit.

A significant chapter in the history of French nuclear power was written in Cadarache. It was there that the nuclear propulsion systems for nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines — the flagship of France’s nuclear deterrent — were developed. Today, the site is home to the ITER project, a nuclear fusion research initiative that hopes to make us swallow the myth of clean, renewable, and infinite energy. [On Thursday, May 7, around 4:50 a.m. in Le Vigen, about ten kilometers south of Limoges (Haute-Vienne), the TDF transformer located at the base of a Bouygues Telecom telecommunications tower was deliberately set on fire. The fire destroyed batteries, equipment cabinets, and the relay antenna’s cables. Bouygues’ mobile phone services, as well as the radio stations BFM, RMC, and Radio Espérance, were cut off in the area. Below is the claim of responsibility, published the following day on Indy Nantes.]

It’s only now that we’ve learned that, in late March, the destruction of a single electricity pylon in Italy would have cut off oil supplies to Central Europe for several days [March 25–30, Translator’s Note]. Once it arrives at the port of Trieste, the black gold is indeed fed into the Transalpine Pipeline (TAL), which apparently covers no less than 40% of Germany’s oil needs, 90% of Austria’s, and more than 50% of the Czech Republic’s.

Earlier this week, we attacked two pylons on the high-voltage lines that supply the Froges substation (in the Grésivaudan region).

This substation supplies electricity to the STMicroelectronics and Soitec semiconductor factories. We sawed through the bases of these pylons, but they remained standing despite our efforts to bring them down and cause a power outage. Nort-sur-Erdre (Loire-Atlantique): Concrete Mixer Trucks Go Up in Smoke (France)

During the night of Saturday, May 23, around 4:30 a.m., the gendarmerie was alerted to a fire involving concrete mixer trucks in Nort-sur-Erdre, near Nantes. “‘I heard two loud booms,’” explains a resident of the hamlet of La Verrière, who lives about one kilometer as the crow flies from Rue d’Anjou, where four concrete mixer trucks were on fire. The explosions were likely caused by bursting tires or fuel tanks on the vehicles.

This Friday, May 29, trucks blackened by flames are parked in the lot of Bétons Manufacturés de l’Erdre (BME Guimard Bétons), a family-owned business that has been manufacturing and delivering ready-mix concrete for over 40 years. “Forensic investigators have documented the scene,” states the gendarmerie, which is taking this fire very seriously, given the context of opposition against land development.

The ongoing investigation has been entrusted to the Ancenis Criminal Investigation Unit and the Nort-sur-Erdre Independent Unit.

On the night of April 26, exactly forty years to the day after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, an SNCF signal light was sabotaged along the Cherbourg-Paris line, near Caen. The fire was set in the signal’s electrical cabinet alongside the tracks.

According to the SNCF and the press, this “act of vandalism” is causing train delays of at least 30 minutes in both directions on the Cherbourg–Caen–Paris and Caen–Coutances–Granville–Rennes lines on April 27. Service is expected to return to normal by 5:00 p.m.

The proposed aggregate quarry project in Montreuil-au-Houlme, between Argentan and Flers (Orne), is causing tension. In mid-March 2026, the Regional Environmental Directorate ordered Socaorne, a subsidiary of the Thierry Pigeon Group, to halt tree cutting carried out outside the authorized period, which runs from September to October.

Bourges and Surrounding Area (Cher): Three Acts of Sabotage Against the War Industry (France)

[On April 7, around 4 a.m., in the city of Bourges (Cher) and its surrounding countryside, three acts of incendiary sabotage were carried out against the electrical substations that power the war industry, which has infested the region:
– Several structures went up in smoke inside the “Orchidée” high-voltage substation, located on Avenue de l’Europe at the entrance to the town of La Chapelle-Saint-Ursin. The substation is situated a few hundred meters from the munitions manufacturer KNDS.
– An electrical transformer was set on fire in Saint-Florent-sur-Cher, not far from Le Subdray, where the missile manufacturer MBDA is based.
– High-voltage cables were set on fire along a pylon in Bourges, at the entrance to the greenway on Chemin de Villeneuve. It is located near the other MBDA plant, and graffiti reading “Actions Against War” was found at the scene.
The Cher Prefecture estimates the cost of the damage from this coordinated act of sabotage at “several million euros,” with restoration work expected to take “several months,” but is careful not to mention the production delays caused on these military production lines, which operate on a just-in-time basis in “war economy” mode. Power was not restored until around 7 a.m. for the 4,000 nearby households that had been without electricity. The case was referred to the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office, which assigned it to the SDAT on the grounds that these acts could constitute “an attack on the fundamental interests of the Nation.” The claim of responsibility released the following day is provided below.]
